Malnutrition- is one of the most common causes of peripheral neuropathy. Through various research it has been found that malnutrition gives birth to neuropathic problems. Mainly the deficiencies of vitamins like Vitamin B is one of the major causes of malnutrition. The deficiency of vitamin B gives birth various types of neuropathies. The patients are seen to be suffered from complex deficiency and isolated deficiency. The metabollic disorders are responsible for the complex deficiency. It give rise to neuropathic problems. The isolated deficiency that occurs in the lack of vitamin B is among the major causes of neuropathic diseases.

Apart from the deficiencies of malnutrition there are also different types of other deficiencies responsible for malnutrition and neuropathy. Some of the common causes are:
Deficiency of Thiamine: Thiamine is one of the vitamin that is found in the vegetables, nuts, seeds and germ of wheat. This vitamin has its important role in preventing malnutrition. The work of this vitamin is to transfer the groups of aldehyde. It also acts as a major coenzyme of the metabolic glucose pentose pathways. Glycolytic is also influenced by Thiamine. There are four enzymes that need the vitamin Thiamine. The enzymes such as a-ketoacid dehydrogenase, transketolase, a-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase and pyruvate dehydrogenase have their dependence of thiamine.
As per the United States of America men require daily thiamine at least one and half miligram. If your intake of thiamine is less than 0.2 miligram there arose a deficiency that can give birth to neuropathic problems. Deficiencies of thiamine affect the nerve that is called vagal. After the affection of vagal nerve patients often suffer from the symptoms such as disorderly distribution of recurrent nerves, laryngeal and cardiac.
The major deseases that are occurred from the deficiency of thiamine are wet beriberi and dry beriberi. The main symptom of wet beriberi is the congestive heart failure. In the dry beriberi patients are affected by the general symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. Thus, thiamine deficiency resulting in malnutrition is among the popular cause of neuropathy.
Exposure of alcohol: Affect of alcohol have their responsibility for malnutrition and finally in the neuropathic problems. Alcohol affects the ion channels. The chaperonins, G proteins, neurotransmitters, secondary messengers all are affected by alcoholism. The patients who are addicted to alcohol are found to be suffered from the symptoms of neuropathy. The peripheral nerves are damaged and finally result in the problems of neuropathy.
Deficiencies of Pyridoxine and Cyanocobalamin: The deficiencies of Pyridoxine also results in malnutrition. This vitamin is found in cereals that are whole- grained, vegetables, liver, meats and muscles. This vitamin is quiet essential for get proper nutrition. To prevent malnutrition always try to take this vitamin in proper quantities. As per research it has been declared that if men intake two miligrams of this vitamin they can stay away from malnutrition. Along with Pyridoxine another most essential vitamin that is required to prevent to malnutrition is Cyanocobalamin. It is present in fish, eggs, milk, cheese, kidney, liver and meats.
